ZOOM APP—Amidst the pandemonium that only takes place in a global pandemic, Duke administrators have few things covered. But they’ve been certain to ensure that the annually mobbed Bass Connections poster fair will still be held via Zoom. Phew.
Bass Connections director, Laura Howes, spoke in a recorded message to the student body. “It’s ok. You can calm down. We know it’s been a lot. Classes have moved online, your friend is in the ER, and all your stuff is still in your dorm. But we know exactly what you need to hear in this chaotic time. That’s right, get your hopes up real high. Now double them. Because the Bass Connections poster fair just cannot be stopped!”
In other news, the University is “still thinking” about first steps on delivering people’s belongings to them.
